Mrs. Lula Fowler Harrelson, wife of George W. Harrelson of Mt. Vernon section of Horry County, died January 5, 1961.

Mrs. Harrelson was born in Horry County Sept. 8, 1889, daughter of the late Zealous and Joan Grainger Fowler. She was reared in the home of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Harrelson and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Surviving include the widower; three sons, Guthrie Harrelson, Earl Harrelson and Ansel Harrelson of Rt. 4, Loris; four daughters, Mrs. Joe Royals of Rt. 5, Conway, Mrs. Berry Todd of Conway, and Mrs. John Royals, of Rt. 4 Loris, and Mrs. Ottis Stevens of Charleston Heights; and 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
