WAPAKONETA - Charles F. Bush, 84, retired rural mail carrier and a life resident of the Wapakoneta area, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in his home here after a long illness.
Born in Auglaize County June 3, 1870, Mr. Bush was married Oct. 30, 1901, to Christine Hassenauer. She died in 1936.
Mr. Bush was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ethel Bush, at home; and Miss Mary Ann Bush, Columbus; a son, Paul, Wapakoneta; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Flora Smith, Lima.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, the Rev. Werner Rauh, in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Holy Name Society will recite Rosary at 7:10 p.m. Friday in the Heinl & Son Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Friday.
