Mrs. Bertha Stricker, age 85, of 322 West Gerald Avenue, passed away in a local hospital 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 1966. Native and life-long resident of San Antonio. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Helen I. Forbrich, Mrs. Alfred Kappmeyer, Mrs. Albert Friedrich, Mrs. Clarence Tondre, Mrs. Tom Nelson, Mrs. Louise Emilienburg and Mrs. Emmitt Lewis, all of San Antonio, Mrs. Bertha Graham of Austin and Mrs. Lydia Weaver of Los Angeles; son, Charles W. Stricker of Cotulla; sisters, Mrs. Hattie Wernott and Mrs. Gus B. Mauermann, both of San Antonio; brothers, George, Willie and Julius Wagner, all of San Antonio; 32 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Sept, 2, 1966, in Mission Park Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Thorpe officiating. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park.
