From the Athena Press, 1 Feb 1895: Mrs J K Davi(d)son died Friday at her home on the mountain. She expired sitting in her chair with her three small children with her at the time. She had been ill for some time with quick consumption. Her remains were interred in the Kees cemetery Saturday.

Kees Cemetery is also known as Blue Mountain Cemetery.

Her headstone, if she had one, was destroyed by vandals. Her grave is next to her father-in-law's, Samuel Kelsey Davison (1831 - 1897). He does not have a headstone either.
