Mary T. Molly (Lombard) Byrne, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Dec. 9, 2011. Molly grew up in South Boston in St. Bridgets Parish. She graduated from Nazareth High School, Class of 47. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and volunteered at the Weymouth Food Pantry, the Spirit of State Street, and the Weymouth Council on Aging. She enjoyed traveling, walks at Webb Park and supporting her childrens work in theater and education. Molly and her husband owned a vacation home in South Dennis for numerous years. Their doors were always open to all and they enjoyed many laughs and always a good meal. Loving daughter of the late James J. and Theresa (Sullivan) Lombard. Loving wife of the late John Patrick Byrne. Devoted mother of Christopher and his wife Mary Lou Martin of Long Beach, CA, Paul of Carmel, CA, James and his partner Douglas Robinson of Truro, MA Jean and her husband Joseph Sherick of Philadelphia, PA, and Thomas of Long Beach, CA. Cherished grandmother of Ramona, Peter, Alexandra, Jacob, and Ezekiel. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, East Weymouth at 3 Charles St., (corner of Charles & Middle St.), Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
