Charles Kidwell
Dies At His Home On Charlotte St.
Ill for the past two years, Charles Alpha Kidwell, 68, died of complications
at 12:15 a.m. today at his home, 416 Charlotte Street.
Mr. Kidwell was born in Ashland County on October 8, 1874, to the late
George and Elizabeth Over Kidwell. He was married May 17, 1902, to Effie Shull,
who survives together with two sons, Oswin and Wayne and one daughter, Mrs. Enid
Charleston, all of Bucyrus, a brother, Walter Kidwell of Bucyrus, and five
grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
Mr. Kidwell followed the occupation of carpenter and cabinet maker prior to
retirement. He was a member of the United Brethren Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Wise Funeral Home
with the Rev. Walter Purdy, U.B. pastor, officiating. Burial wil be in Oakwood.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at the funeral home
