Mrs. Myrtle Griffin
Lyons, — Mrs. Myrtle Griffin, 68, died in the hospital here Friday morning after a brief illness. She had been a life-long resident of this community.
She is survived by three brothers, Ben Chewning, rural Hutchinson; George Chewning, living in California, and John Chewning, Wichita; four sisters, Mrs. Belva Mann, Seattle, Wash.; Lulu Chewning, Lyons; Mrs. Betty Alley, Springfield, Colo.; and Mrs. Mary Blair, 222 West First; seven children and 15 grandchildren.
