Thief River Falls, Minn -- Adolph M. Kleinvachter, 76, Thief River Falls died Friday at Northwestern Hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Belmont Funeral Home, Thief River Falls is handling arrangements.

Adolph M. Kleinvachter was born June 6, 1905 in Waterville, Minn. As a child, he moved to Strandquist, Minn., where he grew up and began farming. In January 1928, he married Gladys Holmstrom in Strandquist. In 1942, they moved to Thief River Falls to farm. In May 1953, she died. In October 1955, he married Marie Grundhaus Christie in Thief River Falls, where she is presently living. He retired from farming in 1978.

Survivors include his wife, sons J., D., R. and R. Kleinvachter; daughters A. Friedlander, C. Sommers, I. Hoppe, B. Hauswirth, and S. Gigstad; 22 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, A., F. and J. Kleinvachter; sisters, Mrs. E. Brossolt, Mrs. A. Storeby, Mrs. S. Benson, and K. Olson.
