TEXAS KILLED IN COLLISION NEAR SHIPROCK

Truck Containing Albert Farnsworth and Family Hit by Car Driven by Robert Macfarland

FARMINGTON, New Mexico, September 01 - Albert FARNSWORTH of Ranger, Texas, was instantly killed Thursday night two miles south of Shiprock, New Mexico, on the Gallup highway when an auto driven by Robert MacFarland, also said to be from Texas, crashed into the rear of his truck.

FARNSWORTH, with his wife and children and a load of melons and chickens, had stopped his truck on the right side of the road with no light or reflector at the rear. MacFarland and his wife ____ car driving to Shiprock _____ see the truck, and hit it in the rear in such a way as to _____ over on FARNSWORTH. Robert MacFarland was slightly injured but FARNSWORTH's wife and children and MacFarland escaped _____.

Coroner's inquest was held at Shiprock late Friday.
