CONNEAUTVILLE - Marjorie Ann Samuels, 74, of 535 Shermansville Road, Conneautville, died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at the Meadville Medical Center Transitional Care Unit following an extended illness.
Born May 11, 1927, in Sharon, she was a daughter of Ralph Lincoln and Mary Elizabeth White. She married George Paul Samuels. He died in 1991.
A homemaker and an avid reader, she was a member of the Conneautville Women's Club and attended Valley Church United Methodist.
Survivors include: three sons, David Samuels and his wife, Aletha, and Douglas Samuels and his wife, Shirley, all of Conneautville, and Scott Samuels and his wife, Wanetta, of Springboro; two daughters, Rosemary Swedrock and her husband, John, of Fairport, N.Y., and Amy Kimple and her husband, Alan, of Linesville; a sister, Betty Parsons of Wheatland; and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Samuels.
Before her passing she requested that calling hours at the White-Cool Funeral Home, 1405 Main St., Conneautville, be private.
A private funeral service will be at the funeral home.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Stone Memorial Library, 1101 Main St., Conneautville, Pa., 16406.
