Born in Goshen, son of Robert and Lydia(Angell)Lear
About the time of his marriage he settled in Cornish.Soon after his first wife's (Eleanor)death he removed to Sunapee where he spent the rest of his life...Me married second to Nancy C Jacobs in 1862. She died and he married third to Mary C Perkins. He was a farmer and also a Capt in the 15th Regt, state Militia for several years..
He and his first wife, Eleanor had 7 children
