Mrs. Margaret E. Shipley, wife of
Joseph H. Shipley, died Monday,
March 28, 1938, at her home near
Gist. She was a daughter of the late
Joseph and Sarah A. Wilson and was
77 years of age. She leaves her husband
and three stepchildren; Mrs.
John Baker, Bird Hill; Mrs. Ernest
Niner, Salem, and Mrs. Raymond Mc
Quay, Eldersburg; also three brothers:
Robert Wilson, Granite, Md.:
Amos Wilson, Spring Grove, Ill.; and
Columbus Wilson, of Pennsylvania;
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday,
meeting at the late residence at
10 A. M., with concluding services in
Bethesda M. E. Church. The Rev.
Henry J. Muller officiated. Burial
was in the cemetery adjoining the
church. C. M. Waltz, funeral director.
