George Myer 3rd son of Jacob & Julia (Morr) Myer was born on 10/5/1794. He was a prominent farmer & lumberman owning a large tract of timberland on Pine Creek. He also built a section of canal for which he was a contractor. He adhered to the Democratic Party & was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Myer married Mary Snyder & their children were:
