Frederick Post - December 8, 1955
Henry Theodore Waesche, 85, who was associated with Lansburgh's department store in Washington for 50 years before he retired as a woolen goods buyer in 1948, died Monday in Garfield Hospital. He lived at 6105 Fourth Street, N.W., Washington.
Mr. Waesche was born near Hyattstown. He was educated in MOntgomery County and at Bryant and Stratton College in Baltimore.
He was on the official board as a trustee of Emory Methodist Church and was historian and secretary of the church. He was formerly superintendent of the Sunday School.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Eleze Henry Waesche, a daughter, Mrs. Gerald E. Keene, Washington; a son, Hugh Henry Waesche, Washington with the Geological Survey, and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Emory Methodist Church, 6100 Georgia Avenue, N.W. Burial will be in Beallsville, Md.
