BIG STONE GAP — LaTasha Lee Cross, 32, passed away at her residence Friday (July 3, 2009).
She was a lifelong resident of the area. LaTasha was of the Baptist faith, she worked as a Customer Service Rep. for Telemed in Wise, Va.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry "Dude" Cross and aunt, Jeanie Mumpower.
LaTasha is survived by her mother, Beth Cross of Big Stone Gap; grandparents, George and Anne Mumpower of Big Stone Gap; grandparents, Arvil and Lorraine Cross of Appalachia, Va.; one sister, Michelle Cross of Big Stone Gap; uncle, Bill Mumpower of Norcross, Ga.; uncle, Gary Cross of Appalachia, Va.; many great uncles, aunts and cousins; special family friends, Darlene and Cody Isom of Big Stone Gap.
Funeral services will be in the chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Garrett Sheldon and Pastor Garrett Lee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LaTasha Cross Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 81, Big Stone Gap, Va. 24219 to assist the family in funeral expenses.
