His Birth: On July 11, 1961, in Lampkin, MS, Carl Earl Allen was born to Herbert Clark Allen, Sr. and Nomie Jean Allen. Carl was the seventh of nine children. His father preceded him in death.
His Life: Carl graduated from Humphreys County High School in May 1981. He continued his education at Miss Delta Community College where he received a certificate in welding. Carl worked as a farmer, welder, heating & cooling installer and a road engineer. He was known for his yard swings, park benches, picnic tables and grills. He was called, "a jack of all trades". He touched the lives of all who met and knew him.
In his youth, Carl gave his life to Christ and joined Rose Hill M.B. Church. He later joined Christian Valley M.B. Church where he served as parking attendant and kitchen assistant. Carl was a charismatic man who loved his wife, children, classmate, church, family and friends. He had a passion for hunting.
His Legacy: On, Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at 8:30 a.m., God sent his angel to escort Carl home. He leaves to honor his memory a loving and devoted wife Francine McClain-Allen; one son: Carl Earl Clarke, Belzoni, MS; one step son: Lionel M.
