Robert entered the service from Pennsylvania.His serial # was 33168171.Cause of death:coronary occlusion. Robert had three brothers: James,Norman and William.Grandson of Terrence and Rosanna Murray Kelly.Robert served with the 20th Engr.Combat Bn.Robert never married.His "effects" that were shipped to his family in Pittsburgh,Pa. were as follows:Chessmen,Missal Prayer Book,Rosary,Medal of the Immaculate Conception of Mary,cigarette lighter and billfold.(stated by the 1st Lt of his unit,W H West.)He was first interred at the Brookwood American Military Cemetery in Brookwood,England.In May of 1948 he was disinterred and his final resting place was in Cambridge American Military Cemetery,Coton,Cambridgeshire,England.
