He was born Oct. 30, 1907, at Foy, moving to Kelliher in 1934. On Feb. 22, 1936, he married Gerda Torgerson at Kelliher. He built and operated the Phillip's 66 station at Kelliher. In additon to operating the store, he also worked as a trucker and was employed by the City of Kelliher, retiring in 1972.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter, LaVonne Peterson, of St. Paul.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond.
