NAMPA — Services for Minnie Strohm, 65, Route Six, Nampa, who died Tuesday at a Nampa hospital following a short illness, will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Alsip Funeral Chapel in Nampa by the Rev. Ernest Wilson, pastor of Nampa First United Methodist Church. Cremation will follow.

She was born May 27, 1906 at Fort Bridger, Wyo. She was married to James R. Strohm on Feb. 20, 1954 at Superior, Mont. They lived at Smelterville, Idaho for a number of years, and then at Coeur d'Alene before coming to Nampa in 1970.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Dorothy Abercrombie, Gooding; a brother, Robert C. Hanson, Wendell; four sisters, Aleen Krouse, Nampa, Lucy Hanson, Wendell, Edna Squires, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Stella Turnbaugh, California; two stepsons, Norman and Larry Strohm, both of Edmonds, Wash; a stepdaughter, De Loris Fellers, Greenville, S. C.; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild, eight step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
