Hazel Marie Aiken Chapman, 78, died Wednesday, July 18, 1990, in Provo of a lingering illness. She was born March 19, 1912, in Taber, Alberta, Canada, to Charles Henry and Mary Grandmanson Aiken. She married Arch Robert Chapman, September 30, 1932, in Tijuana, Mexico. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died in 1968.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters, Floyd Chapman, Roberta C. Anderson, Hazel C. Perry, all of Provo; Robert Chapman, Spring Valley, California; David Chapman, Salt Lake City; Richard Chapman, Payson; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers and three sister, Charles G. Aiken, Edwin Aiken, Leon Aiken, all of Orem; Chester, Phoenix, Arizona; Eva Rassmussen, Provo; Edith Pederson, Orem; Fern Carter, Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Roy Aiken, Bill Aiken, Loren Aiken, Kathleen West.
