Joyce Ann Holden, 78, of Killen died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Elkins East Chapel from 12-2PM. Funeral services will follow at 2PM in the Chapel with Bro. Larry Harper officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery. Mrs. Holden loved watching Alabama Crimson Tide Football, she enjoyed being with her family and friends, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Roy Holden; parents, Glayds and Oscar "Moss" Campbell. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Murphy (Butch); son, Jeff Holden (Mary Ann); sister, Ruth Murks; three grandchildren, Misty Wright, Van Holden (Lindsay), and Lindsey Goode (Chase); two great-grandchildren, Blake and Ashlynn Wright; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Randy Carter, Van Holden, Chase Goode, Tony Howard, Mike Murks, Freddie Pruett, and Earl Carter, Jr. The family would like to thank Dr. Lyman Mitchell, Jr., Dr. Robert J. Webb, 5th floor nurses, palliative care nurses at ECM Hospital, and nurses at J.W. Sommers Rehab.
