Jackie "Jack" Boyd Atkinson, 86, husband of the late Thelma Soles Atkinson, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Lake City/Scranton Healthcare Center.
Mr. Atkinson was born August 2, 1932, in Darlington, a son of the late Coyt Atkinson and Rena Altman Atkinson. He was a retired farmer and owner of Atkinson Body Shop. Mr. Atkinson was a member of Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and traveling to the mountains.
Mr. Atkinson was preceded in death by brothers, Harry Atkinson and Richard "Dick" Atkinson.
