To any Minister of the Gospel other persons legally authorized to solemnize the Rites of Matrimony. You are hereby permitted to Solemnize the Rites of Matrimony Between James Carnahan and Martha Jane Bundy. The Requirements of the law (can't make out the words) with (can't make out the words) my signature as Clerk of the Clay County Court. This the 29thday of December 1868.
