Wreatha D. Burkett, 72, of Shope Place, Harrisburg, passed away Monday, July 2, 2007 in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born May 3, 1935 in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late Myrle and Irene (Brannon) Coy.
She retired from First Health Services Corporation in December 1998 and was a member of Charlton United Methodist Church, Harrisburg.
Surviving are her husband George H. Burkett; daughter Kathleen Smith of Millersburg; son William H., husband of Christina Burkett of Chicago, Illinois; brother Jay Coy of Hummelstown, sister Gloria Gould of Steelton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the W. Orville Kimmel Funeral Home Inc., 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg with her brother-in-law, Pastor T. Donley Mitchell, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Viewing from 10 to 11 AM Thurday at the funerl home.
