Kathleen was born to Felix and Cecelia (Gerngross) Haverland. On December 26, 1939 she married Chester Afflerbach who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Una Mae Haverland; a sister, Lullein; and son, Charles.
She is survived by her daughters, Dina, Sharon Diana and husband, Matt, and Eileen; grandchildren, Justin, Neal, and Parker. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Alana and Autumn.
