Drafted Fall, 1780. Served as a Private under Capt. John Jones for three months.
Drafted July 1781. Served as a private under Capt. William Turner and Col. William Jones.
William states in Revolutionary Pension papers that his place of residence during Revolution was Bute County, NC.
