Clarence Hoskins Succumbs To Pneumonia

A telegram was received about noon today by B. B. Hoskins, Jr., coverying the sad news that Clarence Hoskins passed away this morning at 7:20 at El Paso. While it was known that Clarence was very ill with pneumonia there was some hope held out in a message received yesterday. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Hoskins, Sr. who were called to his bedside last week, were with him when the end came.
Surviving him besides his parents are five brothers, B. B. Hoskins, Jr., Conde R., Lawrence W., Dudley K. who is in Germany with the army of occupation and Henry who is a student at the state university, and one sister, Miss Augusta Hoskins. His oldest brother, Chas H. Hoskins passed away Dec. 30.
Clarence had lived in El Paso for several years having been engaged in business there.
The news of his untimely death in the full strength of his young manhood has been a great shock not only to his loved ones, but also to hosts of friends especially among the young people as he enjoyed a wide popularity.
The bereaved parents upon whom the hand of affliction has been laid so heavily in that they are called on to mourn the loss of a second son within the past two months, and the sisters and brothers will have the warm sympathy of the entire community in their great bereavement.
Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made, however, it is probable that it will take place Thursday, definite announcement will be made later.
