Richard Eugene ''Jaybird'' Dermon , 73, of Ghent, died Tuesday at Norton Hospital, Louisville. He was a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn L. Day Dermon; sons, Clayton Dermon and Gary Dermon, both of Ghent; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Carrollton.
