Appeared in films like Bride of Frankenstein (1935), Custer's Last Stand (1936 serial) as Calamity Jane, Flaming Frontiers (1938 serial), Stagecoach (1939) with John Wayne, The Oregon Trail (1939 serial), Young Bill Hickok (1940), Hollywood Story (1951) as herself, The Man from the Alamo (1953), Ma and Pa Kettle at Home (1954), and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962).
Married to Hoot Gibson from 1913 to 1920 and later to Clifton Johnson from 1935 to her death in 1977.
