Born south of Huntsville on May 14, 1907, he was a son of Francis M. Hunt and Ellie Lynn Hunt. He had lived in Moberly most of his life. Mr. Hunt was a retired engineer for the Norfolk and Western Railway, a member of the Salem Baptist Church, south of Huntsville, and a member of the B o LE.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel; one daughter, Patsy Steele, Moberly; two sons, Dick , Moberly, and Edgar, Huntsville; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will b at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cater Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Davidson, pastor of the Arnold Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday. MMI 30 Jul 1981
