The funeral of Mrs. Dora Johnson Derkum who died late Saturday night will take place tomorrow afternoon from the Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Derkum was born in Montgomery County, Missouri, Sept. 19, 1866 and came here with her parents when a child 3 years old. She lived here all her life. She married the late Ben Derkum in 1883. He died in 1919.

Mrs. Derkum was a lifelong and active member of the Methodist Church and had been a member of the war mothers since its organization in Jefferson City.

She became ill Feb. 20 and had been bedfast continuously since that time.

She was the mother of twelve children, eleven of whom survive her. They are Sister Mary Magdalen, Mrs. Hilda M. Sailer. Mrs. George McGee, Grover C. Derkum, Leo Derkum, Mrs. Mathew Pahle, Edward C. Derkum, Hattie Mae Derkum, Margaret Derkum, Milo Derkum and Reed Derkum; two sisters, Hattie Lozier and Mrs. Thomas Goodall; and one brother, William Johnson.
