Centralia Boy Dies Suddenly In Tacoma

Rex Burdick, son of Mrs. Bertha Burdick, died suddenly in a Tacoma hospital Saturday night where he had been confined for the past ten days.
The body arrived home yesterday and the funeral will be held from the family residence, 315 S. Pearl street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. W.C. Driver will officiate and the interment will be in the Washington Lawn cemetery. The members of the deceased youth's Sunday school class at the Baptist church will act as pall bearers.
Young Burdick was 20 years of age. He was born in Whitehall, Minn., and came to Centralia with his parents eight years ago. He has been in ill health for years, never fully recovering from an attack of pneumonia, which he underwent in Minnesota, but his death was unexpected and is deeply regretted by the many friends of the family. He is survived by his mother and four brothers, Don, Eitel, Carl and Mark.
