Message from a find a grave visitor:
I think there's a possibility that there were two Rachels married to Eden. I base this on finding evidence that he had 3 children born before his marriage to Rachel Mount, born between the years 1710 and 1713. If Rachel #1 (Rachel Lippit?), born about 1691 and died about 1714, he would have remarried and that could be the better documented marriage in 1716 to Rachel Mount. All her children are born from 1720 on, at least the ones that survived - it's a mystery as to why there are no children for three and a half years of their marriage in either case. AT any rate, it makes more sense than them having 3 kids before the marriage - not acceptable back then - she'd have had three scarlet letters to wear. lol
