Pat Dowling officiated, and burial was in Assumption Cemetery at Morrison. She died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Kansas City. She was born Aug. 13, 1918, at Morrison to Henry H. and Marie (Speckhals) Gerritson. She was never married. She worked as a switchboard operator for Jewish Family Services in Kansas City. Survivors include a sister, Edna Rost and her husband, Urban, of Morrison; a brother, John Gerritson and his wife, Gladys, of Chamois; and nieces and nephews. Memorials are suggested to the Assumption Cemetery at Morrison. Toedtmann-Grosse Funeral Home in Morrison was in charge of arrangements.
