Mary E. Stafford Mills - age 58 of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, December 4, 2011. She attended Second Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Mary was a longtime employee of Lenoir City School System working as a Para Pro with special needs children. She was the Director of Special Olympics for Area 22. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Michael Mills and his wife, Rhonda; parents, J. M. Stafford, Jr. and Ruth Stafford. Survived by her husband of 40 years, David Mills; Elizabeth Reynolds; brothers, Billy Stafford, Jimmy Stafford and wife, Debbie; sisters, Sherry Gunn, Kelly Forsythe and husband, Tommy along with several nieces, nephews, and the many special children she worked with that were so dear to her. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services and interment.
