She was born on Jan. 12, 1973 in Harbor Beach. Rhonda had previously been married to Dale Johnson and later married Gary Bucholtz on Sept. 26, 2003.
She enjoyed all types of music, interior decorating, outdoor activities and yard work, church activities, going on a Detroit Tigers annual outing, attending her children's sporting events, and especially spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her mother, Alice (Larry) Talaski of Bad Axe; two sons, Dale "D.J." Johnson Jr. of Port Hope and Cody Johnson of Sandusky; two daughters, Rachael Tinsey of Kinde and Alexis Bucholtz of Port Hope; two brothers, Rodney Tinsey of Bad Axe and Eric (Nicole) Tinsey of Snover; one step-brother, Chris (Jenny) Talaski of Yale; one grandson, Gabriel McDonald of Kinde; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Tinsey and one nephew, Brent Tinsey.
∼Rhonda, of Port Hope, MI. was found by the police in a motel room in Mason, MI. She had been shot. Her estranged husband was also in the room. He was dead of a gunshot wound. Police ruled it a murder/suicide.
There had been some problems in their marriage. They disappeared on Monday night.
Her husband had been a police chief in Bad Axe, MI.
