Rites Saturday For Claude Quirk

EUNICE, La (Spl) Funeral services for Claude Quirk, 79, of Eunice, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Eunice with burial to follow in St. Louis Cemetery.

Mr. Quirk died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Moosa Memorial Hospital in Eunice following a two-week illness. He was a retired revenue deputy.

Survivors include his wife, the former, Rosa Melvina Wright; three sons, Vivian Quirk of Iota, Rodney Roland Quirk of Eunice and C D. Quirk of Oakdale: eight daughters, Mrs. Elmo Quirk, Mrs. Allie Fontenot, Mrs. Clint Stout and Mrs. Herbert Fuselier, all of Eunice, Mrs. D. A. Vidrine. Mrs. Clayton Whitton and Mrs. Artie Johnson, all of Oakdale, and Mrs. Milton Stokes of Blontz Town, Florida; three step-daughters, Mrs. Douglas Fontenot, Mrs. Buford Belbin and Mrs. W.L. Forkes. all of Oakdale; two sisters, Mrs. Dither Ardoin and Mrs. J. R. Jones, both of Eunice; 43 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
