"Mattie" Peppers was the beloved wife of Jesse Hamilton Peppers, who is buried next to her. They are the parents of Thomas Wesley, Loudonia, Julia Mae, Illa Belle, and Hoyt Clinton Peppers. They also raised Lucius Edwin Patrick after his mother, Julia Mae Peppers-Patrick died at the age of 17.
