Graveside services for Mr. Butler will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m., today (Monday, Dec. 5).
Mr. Butler, 73, of Mt. Juliet died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. A 1956 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, he was the son of the late Riley Benjamin Butler Sr. and Addie Elizabeth Grandstaff Butler.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ben, Joe and Jimmy Butler, as well as his sister, Evelyn Thompson.
Survivors include: brothers, Charlie (Betty) Butler and Bobby (Shirley) Butler; sister, Eloise Denney; and several nieces and nephews.
