Professional Wrestler. Born Herman Rohde, he had his name legally changed to Buddy Rogers. He was the first ever WWE (formerly WWWF) Heavyweight Champion and former NWA Champion, and the first man to hold both the WWE and NWA Championships (wrestler Rick Flair also accomplished this feat years later).
