Theresa Mary Reuther passed away Monday,
May 28, at her home following (a sickness
that lasted nine weeks.

Theresa Deters was born in Plymouth county
on May 19, 1884, and lived here her entire
life. Her parents were John Deters and
Caroline Meinen Deters. She was married to
Theodore Ruether at St. Joseph's church in
Le Mars on February 10, 1903.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 30,
at 9:30 a. m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church
with Msgr. J. D. Fisch officiating. Burial
will be in the Calvary cemetery under the
direction of Luken funeral home.

The Christian Mother's will recite the rosary
after services at the church on Tuesday
evening. This will be after May devotions.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ben
(Caroline) Rolfes, Mrs. Henry (Catherine)
Burkhard, Mrs. Regina Harris, Mrs. Gen
(Margaret) Brown and Mrs. Louis (Mary) Wurth,
all of Le Mars; two sons, Theodore Reuther of
Le Mars, and Henry Reuther of Sioux City. She
is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Frank
(Bernadine) Harpenau of Le Mars, Sister Mary
Fabian of Cresco,Iowa, Miss Josephine Deters
of Le Mars and Mrs. Joseph (Clara) Kolbeck of
Salem, S. D.: two brothers, Tony and John
Deters of Le Mars and 34 grand-children and 8 greatgrandchildren.

Six grandsons will act as casketbearers. They
are Mike Grosenheider, Arnold, Elmer, Andrew
and Bernard Rolfes and Ronald Burkhard.
