Saturday morning at 7:30 o'clock.
Mrs. Ayers had been in poor health
for several months and the latter
part of August underwent a surgical
operation in the Buffalo General hospital
where she was a patient for
three weeks. She was then brought
to her home in this city. She was
aged 62 years.
Mrs. Ayers came to Bradford 47
years ago and has been a resident
here ever since that time. She was a
member of the East End Presbyterian
church. Queen Esther Rebekah lodge
and the Womens Benefit Association
of the Maccabees. Deceased was held
in high esteem by all who knew her.
She leaves her husband, Alex Ayers;
three daughters, Mrs. Clayton G. Dur-
"ee of New York; Mrs. Bernard C.
Flaherty of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs.
Roy Ellison of this city; two brothers
and four sisters. Funeral services
will be held this afternoon at 3
o'clock at the home, Kev. Paul G Miller
officiating. The remains will be
placed in the Community Mausoleum
in Oak Hill.
