The funeral of Sheridan Alcorn was held from Elliot's parlor last Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev O. H. Connelly of Epworth ME Church officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery. Mr Alcorn lived at 422 1-2 E Seventh st died suddenly of apoplexy a week ago January 11, 1930. He had been employed as a night watchman at Moores Garage 5th and Madison, for several months. Before securing that job he had been a machinist for many years at the Hilles- Jones Company. Born in Milltown, Delaware he moved to Stanton whence he came to Wilmington 28 years ago. His wife Fannie M Alcorn remains as do 4 sisters and 3 brothers
