Daughter of Dorothy Kemp Roosevelt (1898-1985) and G. Hall Roosevelt{brother of Eleanor Roosevelt} (1891-1941). Niece of Franklin D. (1882-1945) and Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962); grandniece of Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919). BA, Swarthmore and MA, Graduate Teacher's College, Winnetka, Illinois. Teacher associate at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she completed her doctoral studies. Educator, environmentalist and activist as well as a consultant on educational and management issues. Taught in the Denver Public Schools system and the Graland Country Day School. Director of Community Development and Public Relations, Colorado Council on Arts and Humanities. Edited the Denver cultural affairs journal, Note. Married Denver attorney John A. F. Wendt, Jr. (1921-2002), 1958-they were divorced shortly thereafter.
