Beattyville, Feb. 8 - Walter Cecil Roberts, 35, died Saturday morning in Cincinnati, Ohio, after a long illness. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vivian Roberts, Cincinnati, Ohio; three sons, Larry, Billy, and Troy Roberts, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Beve Roberts, Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Charlie, Roy and Billy Roberts, Cincinnati, Ohio, and a half-brother, Ernest Coomer, Heidelberg, Ky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Newnam Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Jones. Burial will be in the Roach Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
