A Long and Useful Life Ended

Mrs. Margaret A. Dalrymple died at the resident of her grandson, Mr. James W. Dixon, at Rush Point, in Caddo Parish, on August 1st; aged 82 years. Her death was caused by a congestive chill.

Mrs. Dalrymple was an old resident of Bossier parish, and widow of Wilson Dalrymple, who died in this parish many years ago. She was born in Ireland.

Early in life deceased became a member of the Presbyterian church. She was one of the founders of Rocky Mount Presbyterian church. After a membership of many years at that place, she moved her membership to Banks chapel, at Cottage Grove, of which church she was a member at the date of her death.

All that was mortal of this good woman, was followed by a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives to her last resting place at Rocky Mount cemetery last Thursday, where the funeral services were conducted in a most solemn and impressive manner by Rev. P.H. Hensley.
