MRS. D.E. BRINDLE
Carlisle, March 17. - Mrs. Martha Irene Brindle, 87, widow of D. Edward Brindle, late contractor and a former burgess of Carlisle, died yesterday at her home, 168 West High street (sic).
She was a lifelong member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. C.A. Carl, Camp Hill, and Mrs. Urie D. Lutz, Carlisle; two sisters, Mrs. Anna M. Lee and Mrs. Elizabeth Decker, both of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lutz Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Old Graveyard, the Rev. Charles D. Rodenberger officiating. Friends may call Wednesday night at the funeral home.

BRINDLE FUNERAL
Funeral services for Mrs. D. E. Brindle, who died Monday at her home, 168 West High Street, were held this morning from the Lutz Funeral Home, with burial in the Old Graveyard, Rev. Charles D. Rodenberger officiating.
Pallbearers were Eugene Wagner, Wagner, Charles Todd, George Ogilby, John C. Riley, Jr.. Theodore Frederick, Frederick, Jr., and Robert Frederick.
