MRS. CAPTAIN J.P. BRINDLE
Died Early This Morning - A Most Estmable (sic) Woman.
Mrs. Amanda R., wife of Capt. J.P. Brindle, died at her residence on West North street, near Pitt, at 6.45 o'clock. The funeral will take place on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in the annex to the Old Graveyard.
Mrs. Bridle (sic) was born near Carlisle Springs, and had she lived until May 22 she would have been 65 years old. She was a daughter of David Cornman, deceased. Her brothers are Oliver H. Cornman, of Decatur, Ill., and W.H. Cornman, of Carlisle. Her surviving sisters are Mrs. C. Albright, of Carlisle Springs, and Mrs. Mary A. Spahr, of York. For two years the deceased has been ill with consumption and for one year confined to the house. For several months she has been unable to be about. Her death was not unexpected. She is survived by a husband and three children, Albert Brindle, the well-known contractor, of West Louther street (sic); Edward Brindle, of West North street (sic), and Miss Minnie Brindle, at home. During her life Mrs. Brindle was a member of the First Reformed Church. She was a loving mother and a kind neighbor.
