County, AR...the fourth child of Bird Alexander Stephens and Martha Amanda
Liles. Records on his year of birth are conflicting: Per the 1900 Federal
Census, he was born in Dec 1886; per his WWI Draft Reg. Card, he was born March
3, 1884; and according to his 1961 Texas Death Certificate, he was born March 3.
1885. Since he was directly responsible for the information on the Draft Card,
1884 is most likely the correct year of birth. He married prior to 1910 and in
that year's census he was recorded living with his wife, Ossamenetta in Titus
County, Texas.

He moved to Dallas County, Texas in 1925 where he farmed until
he retired. At the time of his death, he was living at 3113 Pluto Dr in Dallas.
