Mrs. Jacob (Jessie E.) Weary, 76, RD5 Carlisle, Dickinson Township, died Saturday in Carlisle Hospital. She was the widow of Jacob M. Weary who died Jan. 18.

Mrs. Weary was born March 11, 1897 in Franklin County, a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Pittman Peck. She attended McAllister United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughrers (sic), Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Myers, RD6 Carlisle, Mrs. Paul (Grace) Steele, Camp Hill, and Mrs. Vivian Louis Fahnestock, RD1 Newville; one son, Jesse Jacob Weary, RD5 Carlisle; one brother, Elmer E. Peck, 47 E St., Carlisle; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Rd. at Belvedere St., Carlisle. The Rev. Colin J. Shaffer, pastor, McAllister United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Donald Stover, pastor, Barnitz United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Carlisle Springs Cemetery. Friends may call Monday evening at the funeral home.
